When I began catering to my needs and integrating therapeutic strategies in my routine, I experienced a positive transformation in all facets of my life. I am honoured to be in a position to help others strengthen self-awareness, practice healthy coping skills and set goals to achieve personal growth and a fulfilling lifestyle.

 

Professionally speaking, I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO, #10887) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I achieved my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, New Brunswick in 2022.

Laura Clarke, MACP, RP

My name is Laura! MACP, Registered Psychotherapist and founder of Think & Feel. My passion to help others along their healing journey initiated when I learned how to overcome my own emotional low points. I struggled a lot growing up but never thought my problems were ‘serious enough’ to go to therapy. As a result, I kept everything in and tried to suppress my emotions. This of course - didn’t work well. I saw how this hindered my outlook on life, relationships with others and my relationship with myself. 

 

As I look back, I’m grateful for my difficult experiences. I learned so much about myself during my self-development journey, which ignited a passion in me to help other people with their mental health struggles. My life mission is to destigmatize therapy and increase accessibility to ultimately provide people with the tools to cope with everyday stressors, handle challenges more effectively and have the tools to cater to their mental health.

Mission

The word ‘therapy’ itself can seem intimidating, but everyone can benefit from talking to someone that has an unbiased perspective on your life. We all experience stress, low mood, anxiety, mood swings or other forms of emotional distress throughout our lives.

 

Our mission is to emphasize that your suffering matters; there is no concern that is too small or big for exploration. You don’t have to navigate through life’s challenges by yourself and you shouldn’t wait until you reach a crisis point to consider help.

Vision

No one teaches you how to think about your thoughts or  regulate your emotions in a healthy way. Unfortunately, it isn't a lesson we learn in school and these tools continue to be inaccessible in society.

 

Our vision is to normalize therapy by providing accessible and flexible services through our online booking tool. We aim to help you improve your relationship with yourself in a space that you feel most comfortable in.
